In truth, he was a complete disaster at RB in his first season at Sunderland, only after Keane switched him to CB did we see anything resembling a footballer. As a central defender he'll give you solid, 100% effort, fantastic last ditch tackling, power in the air, and a great character - as well as a few heart-attacks as he does insist of (usually succesfully) playing himself out of trouble rather than whacking the ball away.
