Shotton Extends Tranmere Stay While Thorley Joins Burscough
Stoke’s young centre back Ryan Shotton has extended his loan stay at Tranmere Rovers into a third month. The 20 year old, who spent last season on loan at Conference outfit Altrincham, joined the League One side at the end of August and has already played twelve matches for them, scoring three goals, including a thirty yard screamer against Colchester.
Meanwhile, eighteen year old midfielder Tom Thorley, who signed his first professional contract earlier this year has joined Conference North side Burscough on a month’s loan deal.
