I think you should reconsider that comment, as you risk alienating your other Jewish reader.

Out of interest, why do you always say it’s going to be a poor game? Is it out of some sort of wounded pride that a newly promoted team with a far smaller budget than you are only five points and two places behind you in the table? I’m hopeful that as it’s an end of season game between two teams directly fighting for position it should be an open and entertaining one.

I’m debating with myself as to whether I should go into detail and point out all the typos, of which there are more than usual, but maybe the light-hearted tone of your writing has sawyed me, so I have decided to abstain from one of my favourite pastimes.

You do convey the sense of end-of-season fun quite well, although there is still a limited sense of seriousness in the article; a partnership which works very well.
