Why Tony Pulis Must Leave
The title of this blog is what everyone is thinking. He is not a very good manager. Anybody could have got Stoke to finish not in the relegation zone. It was not that hard, even a baby could have done it. But now we are still in the Premiership we need a better, new manager who can get some really amazing players into my club.
At the moment, Pulis only gets people like Abdoulaye Faye and Tom Sorensen and Matt Etherington and Salif Diao who have not been very good, but we need some much better players so we can stay in the top league. I think we need a manager like Arsene Wenger or Josey Mourinho who would be better than Pulis and they could maybe get us into Europe, or even, if we were lucky win the whole league.
Also, a better manager would have better coaches and the traning would be really good because one day a while ago I went down to Stoke’s trianing ground and saw everyone train but they were not as quick or strong as I thought they might be.
So, I hope everyone agrees with me that Pulis needs to go. I think everyone does, but there are still some silly people who think he is good and should stay. But I don’t know why.

I am not playing a joke. I’m a very really big Stoke fan and I go to as many games as I go. Who is a Vale fan?
Wot a complete idiot, I think you should learn how to speak English before writing about Stoke
You may be a big Stoke fan, but what planet are you living on? What is the attendance of the Brit compared to the Emirates, Old Trafford, Anfield etc. What is the price of a ticket? What about the commercial aspect, are Stoke a better commodity than Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool (and the list goes on). Why would Wenger want to come to Stoke when he has extremely limited funds? You can only buy and pay what you can afford, and that isn’t much, given our income. To say that anyone could have kept Stoke up including a baby is delusional, infantile and takes away from the brilliant things TP has done for Stoke. Everyone (including me and I have supported Stoke for 37 years) thought we would go back down again looking at the quality of players in teams like Newcastle, Middlesboro, Portsmouth, Wigan etc who were all struggling. TP was rightly talked about for Manager of the Year. My message to you is support your team, get fully behind them or, support Chelsea or Man U if all you are interested in is over paid prima donnas and silverware.
pulis has done a fantastic job at my beloved stoke. he deserves to be where he is and i want him there next season without a dought!!! you must be mental to think he should go…..
p.s. If he is not a good manager, tell me how is it,that he has never been relegated?
I don’t know why everybody is being mean to me and saying really very good amazing nice things about Pulis. He is not a good person and not a really good manager. Wenger or Murinho would like to come to Stoke because we are a little club and they could make us into a really big club. That would be amazing.

Why Why Delilah, I’ve tried to be civil until now, but you’re really annoyed me with this one.
I put a lot of time into writing this blog and frankly, not only is your writing style dreadul, your views are verging on moronic.
“Abdoulaye Faye has not been very good” – no, he only made a clean sweep of our player of the year awards.
“A Cresswell/Beattie partnership would be better than Torres/Gerrard.” – don’t make me laugh.
“Tony Pulis is neither a good person or a good manager” – he’s just run the London marathon for charity and has turned us from a mid-table Championship side to a mid-table Premier League side in three years.
Either you’re incredibly deluded, or you’re a wind-up merchant. Either way, you shouldn’t be writing articles on here. I appreciate that you are only young, but if you are trying to improved your writing skills writing such frictional drivel like this is not the way to do it.
If you’re fishing for a reaction you’ve got it. Please stop lowering the tone of this site.
You can only be a big club, if you have the money behind you. How can we afford 80m for a Ronaldo and then sustain his wages? The whole of the Stoke team were put together for less than what Man City paid for Robinho. You have to live within your means. You got no hope when you grow up if you think that you can run a multi-million pound business on pennies, which in effect TP has had to do. The real world is waiting for you and you will get a shock when you leave playgroup.
Please don’t post again, it’s pathetic. I still think this is a joke to ruin the Stoke blog.

ITPL can you speak to the admin to get this guy blocked? Block his IP too. I think each teams blog should have a moderater and that moderate approves others blogs before they are released to the public.
It’s a shame this guy is on here, it’s clearly someone trying to take away from your excellent blogs. I feel for you, let’s get rid of this guy.

Admin, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but over the last few days, someone, under the name of Why Why Why Delilah has posted several articles on the Stoke blog, making numerous laughable, incorrect points and trying only to be frictional.
It’s my opinion, and that of almost all the comments that he’s been getting that he is purely here to cause trouble and is lowering the tone of the site as a whole.
At first I didn’t want to say anything because I though even if his views differ drastically from mine and those of most Stoke fans he still has a right to express them, but now I am convinced that his agenda is not to seriously convey his opinions but to fish for reactions and cause trouble.
Is there anything that can be done about this?
Let’s hope this is sorted out before too many people get turned off of this site for ever.
Sorry I*T*P*L, I love my team anhd I find I’m defending them many times, but never to a fellow Stokie, who should be behind the them through thick and thin like most of us have. Supporters Stoke and other small teams are real supporters and not glory hunters because we are realistic. Expectation is a great thing and so is aspiration, but gone are the days when teams like Forest could get into the top tier and win it. The top 4 have too much strength and depth and money for us. That doesn’t mean we don’t want to do well, of course we do, but we have to be behind Tony and the lads and had it not been for the supporters at the Brit, we would be playing West Brom again. The supporters were key to our success and that needs to continue. Up and at ‘em, goooaarrrrn the Mighty Potters

Couple of changes made. I have updated I*T*P*L’s account from Author to Editor on the Stoke City blog. I have also downgraded Why Why Why’s account from Author to Contributor.
This means that Why Why Why have to have their article approved before it will go live, either by I*T*P*L or myself.
This way they have a chance to prove themselves as seriously interested in writing, but can’t keep posting directly to the public.
Trust you see this as a suitable solution long term.

It’s RSS feeds that ITPL could use in his stats next season. I thought tools such as league table, progress charts for stoke etc would be useful to him.

bloody hell son, be realistic about this. There is NO! way that arsene wenger or any of them kind of top flight managers, come too stoke. Pulis has done a great job. to be honest matty ethrington has made a great adition too the squad. hes made a big impact on the left wing.
